NATE conducts research into the teaching of English and is involved in curriculum development initiatives with the Arts Council and the National Council for Educational Technology. The association has a range of committees who strive to address current concerns, disseminate knowledge and ideas and promote its work locally and nationally. Shakespeare Week

Shakespeare Week is a new annual celebration to bring Shakespeare to life for millions of primary school children. Held in March every year, Shakespeare Week will be celebrated in schools and cultural sites all over the U.K., and every child will be given the chance to be inspired by Shakespeare's stories, language and heritage.
