May Contain Nuts!
'Nuts' was written for a young teenage cast and explores the awkwardness of romantic and creative aspirations through the medium of storytelling. Henry is trying to write a story, but despite his best efforts to stay with safe, mundane storylines where he isn't too challenged, he has absolutely no control over it at all. In fact Henry's imagination runs away with him – and some of it runs away from him. Jane, for instance, refuses to remain in the kitchen of Henry's mind any longer. Henry, Jane, a few pirates and many other unusual characters enjoy a surreal fun-packed romp that leaves everyone a bit wiser.
Easy to stage and lots of fun.
