Choosing Plays:

The categorisation into Key Stage is intended as a guideline only. Selection is advised in accordance with the interests, performing experience, ability level and enthusiasm of your young actors.

Every play for schools has been 'market tested' on varying groups of young performers aged 6-11, 7-12 and 12-16 according to the subject matter. Each performance was a resounding success and thoroughly enjoyed by all. If you are limited in terms of time, skilled actors, resources, support, space and cast enthusiasm - then the plays for schools offered by Arts On The Move provide an ideal solution!

A review of some of the plays for schools appeared in the Times Educational Supplement Friday Magazine - Review English on May 26th 2000.

Shopping:

The Arts On The Move shop is simple to use. Simply browse using the categories to the left. For example, if you require a playscript use any of the links beneath PLAYS: to find what you are looking for. Alternatively, other resources such as books or our Drama Games Compendium can be found under RESOURCES:.

Once you have found an item you wish to purchase, click the 'add to basket' button for that item. You will be taken to your shopping basket and that item added. You can then continue to shop, adding as many items to your basket as you wish. No personal details will be taken at this stage.

Having decided on your final purchases, adjust any quantities required in the 'view basket' page (remember to click 'update' if you do make changes). Then click the 'confirm order' button where your complete shopping basket, price and any postage and packing will be displayed.

When you are happy with your order, check the box to confirm you agree to our terms and conditions and then choose your payment method from the following:

• credit/debit card through the PayPal secure server;
• proforma invoice and cheque/money order;
• (for UK schools only) proforma invoice and official purchase order.

You will be guided through the next stage where your payment and shipping details are collected.

Submitting Scripts:

If you have written a play which is suitable for children, youth theatres or drama groups, please submit only your synopsis and first ten pages to Arts On The Move for consideration .
