Pupils are encouraged to explore the meaning behind the lines, the rhythm of the language and the aims of the poet, and will gain some understanding of the impact of 'The Great War'.

Beginning with an interactive WW1 timeline, pupils then learn about first aid, marching and take a look at a soldier's life by investigating and wearing a soldier's kit bag.
