Appealing to both actors and audiences alike they are simple to stage, suitable for large casts, have differentiated roles to meet varying reading abilities and can easily be expanded by adding music, songs or dance routines.

| Sausages For Tea is a mini play set in 1940, during World War 2. It tells the short story of one family's experiences during an air raid in a fictional town. The play enables children to gain some insight into the lives of children at that time, and to learn some historical facts about life on the Home Front during the Second World War.
This play is intended for use as a classroom resource, but could easily be performed as part of a whole school history day.
