Acting Techniques Training Sessions If you feel that you would benefit from supportive one-to-one tuition for your auditions / roles, then contact Arts On The Move. Alison Chaplin has experience of guiding professional actors at all levels through audition pieces and giving constructive and practical training in all areas of character development. From text analysis and destructuralisation, through to vocal skills and improving body language, this individual approach is all that you could ever need to boost your confidence and ability to project your role. Training sessions are available to suit you - whether that's during the day, evening or at weekends - and the fees are extremely reasonable at just £20.00 per hour-long session or £15.00 per half-hour session. Reductions are available for group bookings. The sessions can be delivered in a location accessible to you and all notes and resources (including suggested audition pieces if required) are included in the price. This is practical and productive training which is specifically designed and sensibly priced to meet the needs of both aspiring and established actors. The sessions are completely stress and humiliation-free and use an approach which guides the actor to reach a complete understanding of what is required by encouragement and positive teaching methods, rather than through the dictatorial imposition of ideas. LAMDA EXAMS Individual tuition given for adults and children who are taking LAMDA exams. Speech and drama, improvisation, individual pieces - all applicants can be helped by supportive teaching which encourages the very best results. Fees: £20.00 per hour. In your own home or at external centres. Particularly beneficial to children who lack either confidence or specific techniques.
